September: Pursue a Passion
Decide What Your Passion Is
Think back to your childhood. Was there an activity that you enjoyed year after year? Or what would you do if you had a weekend to yourself? Consider the answer to these questions your passion.
Build on Your Passion
What’s the next step/accomplishment that you could achieve if you pursued your passion for 30 days? If your passion is to write, could you write a novel in 30 days? If you like to walk, could you 100 miles in 30 days? If you like to make video snippets, could you make a short film?
Dedicate Time
How are you going to find time to pursue this endeavor? Look at your day and dedicate time for your passion. You may want to set an alarm on your watch, so you remember.
Forget About Results
Just enjoy doing. Take time to tinker, explore, and putter around. Don’t worry about efficiency or outcomes. In the words of Nike, “Just Do It.”
