How do you live in the present? Try taking an improv class. You have to listen carefully to what is being said so you can add on. "Yes and" is the proper response to anything. Additional ways to be mindful are suggested in this blog.

Meditate on Koans
Koans are unanswerable questions used for Buddhist spiritial thinking. They are meant to focus on the big picture instead of disecting parts. An example of a koan is: “Two hands clap and there is sound. What is the sound of one hand?”

Examine the Rules
Many people have defined rules to live life to the fullest. What rules do you abide by that express how you want to live? Refect on these daily.

Stimulate your Mind in New Ways
Nex experiences bring your mind to the present. This is the place that you can practice being aware of your surroundings and what is happening right now.

Keep a Food Diary
Being consciencious of what your are eating enables you to eah more healthy. Reflecting on what you are eating may also bring bad habits to light.

    1. Choose 7 rules and reflect on them daily. Stand up straight. Be precise in your speech. Seek first to understand, then to be understood. Prioritize. Let it go. Be proactive. Smile.
