May: Make Time for Play
Find Your Version of Fun
What did you like to do when you were a kid? Think of something that you would look forward to doing, that is energizing, and memorable.
Be Silly
Look for opportunities to do the absurd and foolish. Don’t hold back. Commit to the tomfoolery. Not only will you have a good laugh, but others will be entertained.
Explore Novelty
Encountering a novel stimulus improves perception and action, increases motivation, elicits exploratory behavior, and promotes learning. So take the long way home, investigate something different, travel to a new location.
Start a Collection
Why? It gives you an incentive to seek objects in places that you would not normally go. It also gives you a reason to bond with people who share your interest.
May Goals
The left hand column represents the goals made at the beginning of the month. The right hand column represents the self report of whether or not a goal was achieved daily.
